Be well... Dr. Sam

If you're anything like the women I work with, you already know what you're supposed to do.

Strength training. Protein. Movement. You've read the books, listened to the podcasts, and started fresh more times than you'd like to admit.

The challenge isn't a lack of information. It's that life keeps happening.

Aging parents. Grandchildren you adore. Businesses, careers, communities — and a calendar that never has quite enough white space. Before long, another season passes and your own health slides to the bottom of the list again.

And while that may feel reasonable in the moment, it comes at a cost — one that compounds quietly over time.

You begin to notice it in your energy. Your strength. Your balance. Your confidence. Your body isn't quite supporting the life you want to live the way it once did.

Here's the point I want to drive home in this conversation... strength is independence insurance.

The strength you build now is what allows you to carry your own groceries, keep up with your grandchildren, travel without limitations, and make choices about your life from a place of capability — not necessity. You can't buy that kind of security. But you can build it.

That's what inspired Strong Summer.

After more than three decades working with women of all ages, one thing rings true across the board. The benefits of gaining strength rarely stop at the physical level.

Women appreciate the stamina, the balance, the confidence. But what they talk about most is something they didn't expect.

They feel clearer. More energetic. Less overwhelmed. More like themselves.

It's as though a fog begins to lift.

Instead of fighting their bodies, they start working with them. Instead of seeing their bodies as projects that need fixing, they develop a partnership with the body that's carrying them through this season of life.

And somewhere in that shift, something else happens too.

They start showing up differently — in their relationships, their work, their daily lives. Not because they hit a number on a scale or finally look a certain way. But because a stronger body gives you options. It keeps the door open on the life you want to be living five, ten, twenty years from now.

That's the real return on this investment. Not just feeling better this summer — but building the kind of strength that pays dividends long after the long days of summer have come and gone.

 Inside Strong Summer

I'll share the things I know make the biggest difference when practiced consistently.

Nothing extreme. And for crying out loud, there's nothing complicated in there either. The so-called "gurus" can peddle that bullhonkey elsewhere.

What you'll find inside are the fundamentals — the ones that actually move the needle when it comes to building strength, supporting energy, improving mobility, and feeling more confident in your body as you move through this season of life.

This isn't designed to become another thing on your to-do list. It's designed to support the life you're already living.

 Follow-Along Strength Workouts

Strength training is one of the most powerful investments you can make in your future independence.

You'll have access to guided, on-demand workouts that can be adapted to meet you where you are today — whether you're brand new to strength training or have years of experience. No home gym required. And if you're traveling this summer, your phone is all you need.

Consistency without rigidity. That's the goal.

 Protein Made Practical

Most women know protein matters. Far fewer feel confident about how much they actually need or how to consistently get enough.

We'll simplify that.

Together we'll cover:

  • How much protein your body needs
  • How protein supports strength, recovery, and healthy aging
  • Ways to improve protein quality
  • Practical meal-building strategies
  • High-protein recipe ideas, including omnivore and plant-based options

No food rules. No complicated tracking.

Just practical guidance you can actually put to use.

 Mobility, Recovery & Everyday Movement

One of the biggest lessons I've learned over the years is that strength isn't only built during workouts.

It's built through how we move throughout the day, how we recover, and how well we care for the body that's carrying us through life.

You'll receive:

  • Mobility routines
  • Stretching resources
  • Walking guidance
  • Recovery strategies
  • Practical movement recommendations

Most women are surprised by how much better they feel when they start paying consistent attention to these often-overlooked pieces.

 P.A.C.E. Groups

 Progress • Accountability • Community • Execution

P.A.C.E. Groups are small, consistent accountability circles inside Strong Summer designed to keep you moving forward all summer long.

You’ll meet every other week for 60 minutes inside the community to reflect, reset, and commit to clear next steps with your group. Choose the group that fits your schedule and stay with the same circle for the summer.

This is where consistency is built, progress is tracked, and momentum is shared.

Here's what makes Strong Summer different.

All of those resources help. But the part I believe makes the biggest difference is access to me. This brain of mine has seen most every situation when it comes to a body moving well, or not moving well.

For more than 25 years I worked as a holistic chiropractor helping people navigate real bodies and real-life challenges. Bodies with old injuries. Bodies moving through menopause. Bodies managing arthritis. Bodies that don't always cooperate with what the fitness industry says they should.

Although I'm retired from clinical practice and no longer diagnose or treat injuries, I bring those decades of experience into everything I do inside Strong Summer.

If an exercise doesn't feel right, ask.

If you need help adapting something, ask.

If you're struggling to bridge the gap between "best laid plans" and real life, ask.

My goal has never been to make people fit a program. My goal has always been to help the program fit the person. Because that's what creates sustainable success.

I usually reserve this type of feedback for my clients, but I’m testing out a new process and want to offer this level of guidance in Strong Summer.

Strong Body. Sharp Mind.

One thing I wish more women understood:

Building a stronger body isn't just about your body. It's about your brain too.

Every year I hear women tell themselves they'll focus on their health when things settle down. After vacation. After summer. After the holidays. After life becomes a little less demanding.

But life has a way of continually presenting us with another reason to wait.

Thing is, you can't wait until you need independence to start building it. The time to invest is now, while your body is responsive and the returns are still compounding in your favor.

Summer gives us a natural on-ramp. Longer days, more daylight, a little more space to build habits that carry forward into fall and beyond.

Three months is long enough to feel meaningfully stronger. Long enough to notice real changes in your energy, mobility, and confidence. Long enough to begin becoming the woman your future self will thank you for being.

The question is simply how you'd like to feel when it gets here.

A woman who made the investment. While she still could.

A Personal Invitation

As I was putting Strong Summer together, I realized I wanted to keep this first experience more intimate.

I'm looking for 15 women over 45 who would like to partner with me this summer.

I use that word intentionally. While I'll be providing the workouts, resources, guidance, and support, I'll also be learning from this inaugural Strong Summer experience and gathering insights that will help shape future versions of the program.

Because of that—and because you're part of my community—I'd like to gift you a $300 credit toward your enrollment.

With the code SUMMER300, your investment for the entire Strong Summer experience is just $197.

Whether you've followed my work for years, trusted me with your health and fitness journey before, or you're new to my little segment of the internet, I'm grateful we're connected.

For everyone else, Strong Summer will be offered at its full investment of $497. This $300 community credit is available only during this inaugural summer experience.

I'd love to spend the summer working closely with 15 women who are ready to build strength, energy, mobility, confidence, and momentum for the years ahead. These women will gain so much from one another too.

My focus isn't on building a big program—it's on creating a meaningful experience for a small group of women.

If that speaks to you, I'd love to have you join us.
